Steven King and Lovecraft

These artists helped me a lot with horror. I've never been the best at making things scary or creepy in nature. Reading some of the works by these guys helped me a lot though. When it came to having to write my own short horror story, I took a lot of the style from them. The story itself was based on my own experiences(not that I ever personally saw a giant silverfish) but I was always scared of silverfish, and I thought that maybe something that I was scared of would be easy to make scary on paper?
