Hello! I recently read a short story collection called The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I had absolutely no problems with any of the stories within this collection. I became immediately attracted the character of Sherlock. I love the way that he can just look at you and tell you so many details about your life. The fact that it also makes sense is astonishing. I think my favorite story, or at least my favorite twist in a story, comes from the story The Man With the Twisted Lip. The fact that the beggar turned out to be the supposed murdered man was a genuine surprise to me. The clues were all laid out and I didn't actually realize until the end. With the other stories at least I had some sort of idea of what might happen, but this result was completely unexpected. The other thing I loved about Sherlock was the unique characters. Every person that Sherlock talks to has a unique story, and none of them really overlap. Also, as a side note, these stories inspired me to watch the TV show Sherlock, which is fantastic. BUT that's besides the point. I would recommend this story collection to anybody. They're honestly worth the read, despite how old they might be. Now, stop reading my blog and go read some Sherlock Holmes!
