There are a lot of different careers out there that involve writing. As I've said before, I'm interested in becoming an author or novelist, but these are three others that also interest me.
Comedian
I love the idea of being a comedian. I listen to comedy in the car and honestly, I just love the fact that these people can make me laugh or even just grin when I'm bored. The other thing is, anyone can do it really, as long as they are funny. You don't need a formal education in college, but it doesn't hurt to study the art. Popular comedians can make millions of dollars a year too if they gain their popularity and work hard. I've always been a pretty funny guy, at least I hope, or else I've been brutally lied to. And comedy may just be an alley I can go down if I ever turn away from becoming an author.
Video Game Writer
I play video games pretty frequently. They're enjoyable and I love how sometimes, they can have as many twists and turns as a novel. I think being a video game writer would be a fantastic path for me to travel down just because I would be able to show my stories through writing but then the story could also have great visuals played out through the game. I could have the satisfaction of knowing that possibly millions of people are playing a game that I wrote, and are enjoying it. The salary of a video game writer is around $82,935 and it is mostly only required of you to have a bachelors degree to pursue the career.
Screenwriter
The act of screenwriting would be fun for me. First of all, I love watching some tv series now. But writing my own would be really awesome because I would be able to see how the actors themselves take the series into their own hands and make some acting decision that brings their character to life. Experienced screenwriters can make up to a million dollars for one playwright so I would have to practice a lot, maybe even more than that. I would also need a bachelors degree. I can definitely see myself becoming a screenwriter.

Out of these three professions, I could see myself most pursuing that of the videogame writer. I love playing videogames and writing the story for one myself would be a dream. Seeing it's graphics come to life and seeing what the game mechanics could be would be awesome. And of course, I would be able to play it for myself. Maybe I should start looking into video game writing...
